Michael Jackson can finally rest in peace -- and not just because Dr. Conrad Murray was recently found guilty of involuntary manslaughter.

At the request of the Jackson family, Julien's Auctions has removed the King of Pop's death bed from its list of items going on sale December 17, E! News reports.

Prior to being pulled from the sale, the headboard's bidding price was set to start around $3,000-$5,000, though Darren Julien said "we let the market dictate its final price."
(The mattresses from Jackson's death bed were never included in the auction since they were taken away as evidence when he died in 2009.)

The auction will still include various other items, including paintings by Maurice Utrillo and Henri Rosseau, an antique armoire and a kitchen chalkboard with a handwritten note.
