Jun 1st - Sony To Restart Online Gaming In 50+ Markets excluding Japan

Sony Corp. said Tuesday it will restart its PlayStation Network online game service in 56 countries and territories, excluding Japan, South Korea and Hong Kong by the end of the week.


Game software and related products will be available with the restart of service.



The consumer electronics titan has already resumed real-time fighting games and other free services.



The company will resume paid services after verifying that its network is secure.



Sony said it will announce later the resumption of online gaming in Japan, South Korea and Hong Kong.
