Idolm@ster Dishes Offered at Japan's Pasela Restaurants

Azusa's Wedding Pudding, Miki's Onigiri Basket, Iori's Gorgeous Celeb Strawberry Milk, more

In honor of The IDOLM@STER anime, which aired from July 7 to December 22 last year, the Pasela Japanese restaurant chain is offering themed dishes and drinks this month. Select Pasela locations already started selling 15 items inspired by the slice-of-life drama series on January 1, although the campaign officially begins on Tuesday, January 10. Customers who order from The IDOLM@STER menu also receive one of six exclusive coasters with images of the idol characters.

The campaign's special menu items include:


Azusa Miura's Wedding Pudding (pudding shaped like Azusa's wedding gown with rose petals)
Yukiho Hagiwara's "Digging a Hole" Pie Stew (white stew with a pie crust top)
Ry?g? Komachi's Kakiage Udon (three servings of fried seafood with udon noodles)
Producer, It's Honey Toast, Honey Toast!
Chihaya Kisaragi's Debut Number "Blue Torinku" (blue soda drink inspired by Chihaya's debut song "Blue Tori")
Miki Hoshii's Onigiri Basket (a jumbo-sized 300-gram/0.7 pound rice ball)
Hibiki Ganaha's Goya Chanpur??? (bitter melon in Okinawan stir-fry dish that inspired the Samurai Champloo anime's name)
Iori Minase's Gorgeous Celeb Strawberry Milk (milk drink with strawberry shaved ice)
Ritsuko Akizuki Produce "Kiwi Gel?e Soda"
Namassuka!? Sundae (sundae with pure chocolate and fresh cream, named after the idols' TV show)
Makoto Kikuchi's Special! Black Vinegar and Mixed Berry Health Drink
Takane Shij?'s Extra-Large "Ramen" (ramen noodles with double the portions of slightly spicy vegetables with garlic oil)
Yayoi Takatsuki's Family Bean Sprout Festival ~Plus Yakiniku Man~ (grilled meat with bean sprouts)
Ami and Mami Futami's Twin Pineapple Float (pineapple float with two scoops of ice cream)

Exclusive coasters

Akihabara's Cure Maid Caf? also offered similar The IDOLM@STER-themed food and drink items in November, and Tokyo's Namco Namja Town sold desserts and entrees inspired by the anime in October and November.

Pasela restaurants offered an Evangelion menu in 2008. The game developer CAPCOM will also partner with the chain to open the CAPCOM Bar in Tokyo's Shinjuku Ward on January 25.
