Novak Djokovic Beats Roger Federer: Readers Provide Tennis Headlines (PHOTOS)

As soon as Novak Djokovic's epic comeback win over Roger Federer in the first semifinal at the 2011 U.S. Open was complete, there were newspaper editors around the world scrambling to finalize their headlines.

Do you focus on Roger's defeat? Or Djokovic's stunning comeback?

For HuffPost Sports, the decision was made all the easier by the myriad possibilities with Djokovic's surname. At first glance, it looks like a headline writer's multisyllabic nightmare. Then you zero in on the first two syllables that have helped earn the Serbian tennis star the nickname of the "Djoker," and all of a sudden there a lot of options. Perhaps most importantly, Djokovic's habits of dancing on the court and hamming it up for laughs while away from the game make such playful headlines thematically and linguistically appropriate.

Here are some of the funny, (or, at least, punny) headlines that we came up. Place your suggestions in the comments section and vote for your favorite. We'll check back tomorrow to see what tabloids around the world, like the New York Post, have come up with for the back pages of their Sunday editions.
